Causes

Allergens
Allergies are triggered by exposure to substances from the environment known as allergens, which can include pollen grains, animal dander, dust mites, and molds. Pollen grains are produced by trees, grasses, and weeds during warmer weather and are carried by the air. Animal dander is small flakes of skin that are shed by household pets. Dust mites are microscopic organisms naturally found indoors, notably in carpeting, bedding, curtains, and upholstery. Molds are tiny fungi that thrive in moist, warm environments.
