Planning for Pregnancy: If you think you may be pregnant
The only way for you to be sure you are pregnant is to have a pregnancy test. Your doctor can provide the most reliable testing. If you are pregnant, your doctor will discuss your health, your baby's development and answer any questions that you may have. So, if you are pregnant or think you might be, we strongly encourage you to set up a prenatal appointment with your OB/GYN as soon as possible - but certainly no later than your 12th week.
Common signs of pregnancy are:
- A missed or late menstrual period.
- Tender or enlarged breasts.
- Nausea.
- Fatigue.
- Headaches.
- Frequent urination.
If you are experiencing these symptoms, call your OB/GYN right away to schedule a pregnancy test.
