How Blood Pressure Is Measured?
Blood pressure is recorded as two numbers (e.g.120/80); the systolic pressure, as the heart beats, over the diastolic pressure, as the heart relaxes. A doctor, nurse or other health professional can measure your blood pressure and tell you whether you have high blood pressure or not.
