Additionally, this listing represents all participating dentists in the Healthplex network available to Medicaid, Family Health Plus and Child Health Plus members.
HIP arranges for the delivery of oral(dental) health care services in accordance with and subject to the terms of your benefit package. HIP does not directly provide these services. The dental providers listed in this directory who deliver oral health care services are not the employees or agents of HIP. HIP shall not be liable for any negligent act or omission by any of the providers listed in this directory, or any of their employees or agents, who may, from time to time provide dental services to you. HIP expressly disclaims any agency relationship, actual or implied, with any health care provider. Any decisions made by HIP concerning appropriateness of setting, whether any service or supply is medically necessary, pursuant to your member Medicaid or Family Health Plus benefit package or Child Health Plus Subscriber Contract shall be deemed to be made solely for the purposes of determining whether benefits are due under your member Medicaid or Family Health Plus benefit package or Child Health Plus Subscriber Contract, and not for the purposes of recommending any dental treatment or non-treatment.
