- Show your HIP Card at Time of Payment
- Instantly Receive up to 30% Off Treatment Cost
Although we encourage you to keep your doctor informed of any course of treatment you receive, you do not need a referral from your HIP participating Primary Care Physician to receive any of the above services. Simply present your HIP ID card to the network provider in order to obtain the discounted rate.

HIP will not reimburse or otherwise pay any portion of any health care provider's fee or charges. HIP has arranged to make certain discounts available to you. The Alternative Medicine Discount Program is not offered to HIP members enrolled in the Government lines of business (e.g. MEDICAID, MEDICARE, FAMILY HEALTH PLUS, CHILD HEALTH PLUS and (FEHB) FEDERAL EMPLOYEES HEALTH BENEFITS). For further clarification as to whether or not your line of business or benefit package offer the Alternative Medicine Discount Program, please refer to your member handbook.
